It is a film about our history – old and recent – told against the backdrop of the border. This documentary aspires to walking us freely on the border, exploring it. Gradually, exploration turns into a journey into history and towards others, coagulating around it the discovery of other “borderline” human experiences. ”Steps on the Border” is about “our world,” which is, it turns out, not within the borders of a country, but, in fact, is found in our minds and hearts rather than on maps.
